Why so many hugs?
The Houys’ were hoping to invalidate our four year old permits for our shed and gazebo, based on 25 year old violations that were committed by the previous owner of our property. The unanimous decision to uphold our permits should be celebrated, and provide renewed confidence in the permitting process. Why would anyone support such bad behavior?
The Houys erected a spite fence which blocked our view from our gazebo (a small claims court claim). Mr. Houy rationalized that if the gazebo was gone the claim would not have any merit….
Jeff Kalinich’s biased letter sent to the ZBA members days before our meeting. One would expect that DEP would be impartial and professional, and present all relevant information to help Zoning Board Members make informed decisions. Many statements in this letter are incorrect and he has omitted crucial information.
