ZBA meeting November 14, 2023 – our shed and gazebo

Our Application.

Unanimous decision in our favor.

The Houys conspired with former CEO Brenda Charland and DEP Assistant Shoreland Zoning Coordinator Jeffrey Kalinich to invalidate our four year old permits for our shed and gazebo, based on 25 year old violations that were committed by the previous owner of our property. The unanimous decision to uphold our permits should be celebrated, and provide renewed confidence in the permitting process.

Why would anyone support the Houys’ bad behavior? All of the residents in the following picture showed up to support the Houys, who would not even be impacted by the ZBA’s decision, except to watch and hope that as Mr. Houy told us prior to the meeting: “we will not stop until you lose everything“. Fortunately for us the ZBA members were not part of the Houy cabal!

Why so many Hugs? This is a ridiculous display of affection and support for something these residents know nothing about. Publicly expressing support for such bad behavior must mean that they condone the Houy bullying and harassment statics.
